On September 23, Blizzard released a remastered version of its popular Diablo 2 game, dubbed Diablo 2: Resurrected, to the public. Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One are just a few of the gaming platforms on which it can be played.
Since its release, Diablo 2: Resurrected has attracted a large number of players from all corners of the globe. A large number of gamers enjoy this game as a result of its previous reputation; however, some players have reported that it contains bugs.
Furthermore, a new bug has been reported following the recent 1
06 patch, in which PlayStation 4 players have complained about long queue times
Not only that, but the same patch also caused stuttering and performance issues, which added insult to injury D2R set items
Blizzard has done an excellent job, as your game's stutters and lags have become increasingly noticeable with each patch. What a difference from before! After one month, if you continue in this manner, this game will no longer be playable. It's extremely entertaining for hardcore players (Source).
My computer isn't the best, but my FPS was fine before the most recent patch; however, since the patch, I've been experiencing stutters every 3, 4, or 5 seconds. Is it just me, or is anyone else experiencing the same issue?(Image courtesy of the Internet Archive)
According to the above-mentioned reports and others (1, 2, and 3), it appears that the recent patch has rendered the game unplayable for both PC and console players due to frequent stutters.
Those who were inconvenienced by this bug took to Blizzard's official forum and Reddit in an attempt to find a solution to this irritating bug.
Unfortunately, Blizzard has not yet acknowledged the stuttering bug, and we hope that their support team will look into it as soon as possible and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Meanwhile, some players have been able to come up with temporary workarounds to the problem. Changing a few settings can help you get rid of the stuttering problem. To do so, open Task Manager and navigate to Details > Find D2R > right-click and select High Priority from the context menu.
Another player reported that disabling the anti-virus software that comes with a game booster resolved the problem. So, if you have an antivirus program installed, you can try disabling it to see if it makes a difference.
If the stuttering problem persists despite your efforts to resolve it with these workarounds, you'll have to wait for Blizzard's support team to resolve it.
As a result, we will update this post with additional information as and when we receive it, so please check back frequently.
